Hjärnkultur - Crown Ache

From Sweden comes Hjärnkultur (Brain Culture) that offers this EP of four noisy, industrial ambient tracks.

It's a free download from Bandcamp.

Electro Brain Disaster II

Only seven tracks on this release, but it manages to cover some very different styles. The odds that you will like everything is slim, but I think you may find at least some of the track to your liking.

Switched On Rack Vol. 1

This is a compilation to show of the abilities of VCV Rack, a VST that emulates a modular synthesizer. As such it is a bit of a failure as most tracks are ambient. It would have been more interesting if it would have covered other genres as well, but it's a free download from Bandcamp.

Vandal Moon - Synesthesia

This is a release with dark and atmospheric tracks. Sort of darkwave bordering on ambient.

Dark Tunes from Czech and Slovak Caves

I would liked to have more old school goth, but when it comes to darkness this compilation from Sanctuary.cz delivers.

Korvustronik 3 - Contra a vandalização da Natureza

This is a compilation from the Portuguese label Korvustronik mainly focusing on ambient tracks.

My Own Sorrow - Blood Frequencies

My Own Sorrow is a bit hard to pin down. There are elements of dark ambient, darkwave, dark electro and so on. If you are into that you could do worse things than to check out this release.

Vampire Knight by Vampire Knight

Ok, this is the self-titled debut EP by Vampire Knight. It starts out as gothic ambient or something. Then it gets more spaced out and there starts some beats. When it reaches the final tracks it's pretty much electro-industrial.

Cold Space by Izorian

There is a lot of so called dark ambient and while it might be OKish I have not yet found anything as dark as Izorian. It is so dark and cold it gives me goosebumps.
If it is music or not may be irrelevant. It is very cinematic, much like a soundtrack. It may be even be more of sound effects than actual music.
